St. Mark's is partnering with OSL for Vacation Bible School, and we need a few more volunteers to join Pamela to represent St. Mark's. Please contact Fr. Jim if you are willing to donate your time.
Pentecost marked the final Children's Chapel for the school year. The kids brainstormed ways to take the Holy Spirit and the love of Jesus out into the world. It has been so wonderful over the year to see the amazing thoughts and ideas these children have about Jesus Christ and his teachings. 🙌 Fr. Jim will continue to preach a Children's Sermon each week this summer, but the children will remain downstairs for the rest of the service. Pamela will continue to open the Nursery each Sunday for babies and toddlers. Have a wonderful summer!! In Christ, Laura Nickerson ❤️

Joanne Tanner, 81, passed away on the 1st of June, 2019. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, June 8th at 5:30 pm, at our Church, St. Mark’s. Ms. Tanner was born in Hammond, Indiana, January 20th, 1938. She earned a Masters of Social Work from the University of Wyoming. She worked for several years in Natrona County School District. Joanne has two children, Joseph and Anna. She also has two grandchildren, Aaron and Ciera. In her spare time she loved playing Bridge with friends, bragging about her family, gardening and taking continuing education courses through Casper College. Joanne will be remembered as a thoughtful and generous lady, who would stop everything to help her friends. Her wishes are that in lieu of flowers, please donate to the Casper Humane Society at casperhumanesociety.org.

Shrove Tuesday! Pancake eating contest coming up!
Sunday, March 3rd: Fr. Jim talked with the children about our connection to 5 other Anglican Communion dioceses on four continents. Although the kids may have been surprised to learn about places far away across oceans, none of these sweet kids had any doubt that Jesus connects us all. They sang a beautiful verse of "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands" for you all, and Braydon, one of our older kids, wrote a beautiful heartfelt synopsis of our conversation. These amazing kids are truly filled with the Holy Spirit ❤

It's so fun to see the kids' interpretations of the Children's Sermons. Yesterday, Fr. Jim spoke about Jesus being baptized, perhaps by being dunked in a river. But, did you know that Jesus' baptism was witnessed by a scuba diver?? 😂😂
